Let me make some coffee first, 2020, 12 min., sound, color, HD video.

Two linear strand form this work:
 

1st: the audio strand: a conversation of a couple. They are talking in the kitchen about conspiracy theories at the time of Corona lockdown (but not only). During these conversations Ioannis tries to make some coffee.
 

2nd: the optical line: Short picture bites showing flowers, outside. Flowers are symbolized objects that function between objective (nature) and subjective (beauty) perception. But flowers are also structural mathematics, bio-geometry. They are witnesses of a "great plan full of structures" that determine our existence here on earth (what they have in common with conspiracy theories).
 

Both strands find each other in small interludes: whenever the verbal narrative transforms itself to "non-systemic" noises that pick up images of flowers and accompany them like improvised soundtracks.
